Julius River Sinkhole Walk
Point of InterestDescription
If you are planning to enjoy the Tarkine Drive, make sure you make the time stop at this sensational rainforest walk,
The Sinkhole Walk is unformed track with constant small tree roots to navigate so it is by no means an easy flat walk. Having said that is it a beautiful walk that meanders through the lush mossy rainforest with an abundance of fungi, myrtles, leatherwoods, sassafras and ferns, passing a limestone sinkhole before looping back to the car park.
Follow the orange triangles to stay on the track.
You will notice the occasional post with a white feather on blue background this is to indicate a forming sinkhole.
There is plenty of parking and two nice BBQ shelters with tables and gas BBQs at the entry to this walk. The toilet is near the turn off.
