Very popular cottage accommodation in Coles Bay. Gumnut Cottage offers a cosy two bedroom cedar cottage with separate, sleep-out with own ensuite (Le Shack) at Freycinet on Tasmania's east coast. This fully self-contained cottage is just a short 10 minute walk to the beaches, boat ramp, general stores, restaurants, post office, bakery and coffee shops. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom. In the second room this is a double/single bed bunk, and another single bed. "Le Shack" has a queen bed with it's own en suite. A good size balcony with BBQ and a view of the Hazards. Newly renovated kitchen, bathroom and lounge in 2013, and newly installed cosy wood heater in 2017. Self contained holiday rentals are the perfect way to enjoy the Freycinet Peninsula. Like a home away from home, self catering cottage accommodation is hassle free. Wander through the Freycinet National Park and enjoy the natural beauty. Visit Wineglass Bay lookout and enjoy a barbeque at scenic Honeymoon Bay. If you love fishing, drop a line off the Coles Bay jetty or chase a salmon off Swanwick. Freycinet Rentals have a range of self-contained holiday houses, cottages and apartment units located throughout the playground and tennis courts. There is ample off street parking for two cars and a boat. The Coles Bay area is one of tiny seaside village of Coles Bay on the East Coast of Tasmania. Coles Bay is the entrance to Freycinet National Park, home of the pink granite mountains known as the Hazards and the world renowned Wineglass Bay. Each of our properties is unique in their own design and provide all the comforts of a home away from home. All have quality linen provided, complimentary tea and coffee starter kit and late arrival access. Non-smoking inside and no pets allowed.
