Description

Located in Brisbane Ranges National Park, this camping area provides a good base for exploring the historic gold mining area of Steiglitz Historic Park, wildflower and wildlife studies and bush walking. There are 8 campsites suitable for tents and 2 campsites suitable for a camper trailer available. Each site can accommodate a maximum of 6 people. All campsites are unpowered sites. Basic pit toilet, fire pits, picnic tables and tank water are available. Tank water is signed as not for drinking. Bookings are required and fees apply. This camping area is situated approximately 2km north of Steiglitz on Durdidwarrah Road. It provides a good base for exploring the historic gold mining area of Steiglitz Historic Park, wildflower and wildlife studies and bush walking. Pets are not permitted. Please remember that drones are not allowed in any park managed by Parks Victoria.
