Description

Carry in campsite over the river and turn right from the car park. No vehicle access across the river; you need to carry your gear in (150-200 m) so tents only. Drop toilets. Secluded. Very wet after heavy rain. Right on the edge of Telstra reception - calls and text possible but not data. About a 1.5 km walk to the picnic table below the falls where there is good reception. Officially 4 sites but room for about 6. Usually plenty of water in the Murrindindi river but you are down-stream of several campgrounds so it's not advisable to use it for drinking. Walk south about a kilometre till the track crosses Falls Creek if you want to filter water. Please don't let soap get in the river - dispose of all soapy water at least 50 m away.
