Description

This is a hike in, campsite in Wilsons Promontory National Park. Bookings and payment must be made with Parks Victoria. Camping in tents is allowed. This location provides only a campsite with no facilities. A true wilderness experience! Hikers are encouraged to be fit, experienced in self sufficiency, navigation and have a PLB if camping here. Hikers must fill out a Hiker Self Assessment Form before a hiking permit is issued. Call 13 1963 for further information. This campground offers beach swimming. There can be water available in the wet at a stream just near the beach, but it will need to be treated. Overnight camping is permitted for two consecutive nights only at each of the camp areas throughout the year. Maximum group size is six people. Pets are not permitted.
