Located 13km west of Charlton, the Wooroonook Lakes were an important source of water in Charltons early settlement and the site of plenty of fishing, swimming and boating for over 100 years. This low cost campsite offers excellent facilities including 10 powered sites, unpowered sites, an amenities block, BBQ, playground and a pontoon. **please do not camp on the lawn area or on the waters edge in front of powered sites**
Money collected via fees is put towards purchase of water to keep the lake at a safe and usable level as well as beautifying and improving the foreshore.
