Description

Yaapeet Beach offers a quiet camping area on dry lake edge among shade trees. All campsites are unpowered. No booking is required. Camping is on a first in, first-served basis. There are no fees. Non-flush toilet and picnic tables are provided. Boats may be launched from the shore when the lake is full. Rain water is provided but may not always be available supply your own drinking water. Access is via the townships of Rainbow or Yaapeet on unsealed roads, depending on weather conditions. 2WD access from Yaapeet, 4WD access from lake and western beach camp.
