Description

NOTE 27/10/2020: Due to a fire in December 2019, a section of Plenty Gorge Park south of Memorial Drive is closed. The north and east section of Yellow Gum Picnic Area is now open until rehabilitation works take place, however, the gate at Goldsworthy Lane will remain closed to vehicle access until rehabilitation works are complete. Trails that remain closed for now are clearly signed on site. Check Victoria Parks Website for updates before visiting. The Blue Lake, named for its turquoise blue colour at certain times of the year, can be seen from the viewing platform along the walking track to the lake. This free day use area offers nice scenery, toilets, BBQs and walks. Swimming is not advised. Dogs are not permitted. No camping or overnight parking allowed. Park closed on days of Total Fire Ban.
