Description

Located on the bend of Native Hut Creek in Teesdale, Turtle Bend is a natural ampitheatre. This free day use area offers toilets, drinking water, picnic and barbecue facilities, turtle pavillion, children's playground, nice scenery, wildlife viewing, nature walk, skate and BMX park and a basketball half court. At Turtle Bend around the walking track some of Teesdales inspiring stories from the past and the present have been recorded and illustrated for all to enjoy and to ponder. It is dog friendly with dog water bowl provided. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
