A trip down to Phillip Island wouldn't be complete without visiting the world-famous Penguin Parade. But, of course, there's so much more to Phillip Island, and you'll get up close with koalas, hand-feed kangaroos and, meet wombats and Tassie devils. This incredibly popular trip to Phillip Island will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside.
Departing Melbourne, you will travel first to the multi-award-winning Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, where you'll enjoy a guided tour of the extensive exhibits, learning about a wide array of Australian fauna. Hand-feed kangaroos & wallabies and perhaps cuddle a koala (additional fee applies).
Afterwards, visit the Cape Woolamai surf beach and get some sand between your toes (time permitting). Then, travel to the southwest tip of Phillip Island to view the Nobbies and Australia's largest Fur Seal colony at Seal Rocks.
Finally, make your way to Summerland Beach for the highlight of the day as you watch hundreds of Little Penguins emerging from the ocean and waddling across the beach to their homes among the dunes. Explore the spectacular Visitor Centre to learn more about your feathered friends before commencing the journey back to Melbourne.
