Or within 10 minutes drive is Warburton, which is at the base of Mt Donna Buang; ideal for winter snowplay and its beautiful Rainforest Boardwalk. The Warburton area is also well known for its cafes and quirky shops. Further along the Warburton Hwy is the Upper Yarra Dam which feeds Melbourne’s water supply, and is great for Picnics and barbeques. The Healesville area is also within 20 minutes of 3 Kings B&B for sites such as Maroondah Reservoir, Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary and the magnificent Black Spur drive through towering Mountain Ash forests with gullies carpeted with tree ferns.
