We recognize the need for affordable accommodation for Back Packers, so we have fitted out a number of rooms to cater for the Back Packers who don't want to miss out on seeing Derby on their travels through the Kimberley or want to pick up some casual work along the way. Each room has 3 double bunks with lockers under the bunks and an on suite in each room. The rooms are adjacent the Palm Bar where meals can be purchased from the bar menu. Access is provided to Lock Up parking, the Pool area, guest laundry, Main Bar and Restaraunt and we have pool tables, pinball machines and Dart Boards for some relaxation activities. We don't pretend to fully cater for Back packers but offer the beds at an affordable price of $40.00 per night to take a quick break in your travels. A deposit of $50.00 per person is required in advance and is refunded on your departure provided all linen etc is returned and no damage to the facility is incurred. Other activities around Derby are Fishing from the Jetty, Golf, Site seeing Art centers and other interesting places in and around Derby. One, Two And Three day boat trips for hard core Fishermen to adventurers and site seers .
