Camp Cane River (Cane River Conservation Park)
CampgroundDescription
Small, unofficial campsite located on the banks of the Cane River, about 300m from the road. It is part of the Cane River Conservation Park. It can be reached by a dirt track a few hundred meters before the bridge. The campsite is just a dirt track with a small loop for parking, and there are usually quite a few cows. 4WD is required to access the site. Not suitable for large caravans.
There are no facilities available. Campers must be self-sufficient. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
There are no toilet facilities at this site. If you do not have your own toilet, bury human waste at least 100m from tracks and water bodies. Bury toilet paper or bag and dispose of in a bin once you leave the site.
