Crystal Springs (DEntrecasteaux NP)
CampgroundDescription
Crystal Springs is a gateway to the eastern section of D'Entrecasteaux National Park. It is the ideal place to base your explorations of the area as it is situated close to the highway. Crystal Springs was once a stop on the stockman's route to the coast where they grazed their cattle. Nowadays the site is set up to accommodate campers, who have the opportunity to take a break underneath a thick grove of peppermints at this camping site and soak up some of the history of the site.
Crystal Springs is approximately 30 minutes from Walpole. It is located on an unsealed road which is suitable for 2WD. Sites are suitable for tents, camper trailers, motorhomes and caravans (small only) . Toilet facilities are available.
Campfires are usually permitted, in the provided fire rings only, between April 15 and November 30 but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Bring your own firewood. Campers´ own liquid or gas fuel barbeques, stoves and heaters can be used at any time, unless a total fire ban has been declared
Pets are not permitted.
