The Aboriginal Community of Kalumburu extends a warm welcome to visitors to our country. We hope you will enjoy your visit to this unique location and share our respect and care for our country. Kalumburu Mission Caravan Park/Campground provides accommodation and camping facilities at its visitor complex in the town. These can be booked at the Mission Office or phone 08 9161 4333. There are powered sites as well as toilets, showers, camp kitchen and laundry. This is a remote area, access by 4WD only.All visitors who enter Kalumburu lands must obtain a valid Permit. Permits can be obtained at a cost of $50 (inc gst) per vehicle. A permit must be obtained and displayed for each vehicle accessing Kalumburu Township, Lands and Leaseholds.You can purchase your permit online or on arrival into the community via the Community Resource Centre or the Uraro Store.Please note: You will also need an Entry Permit for access to Aboriginal Land which you can obtain from www.daa.wa.gov.au.NO ALCOHOL. Kalumburu is a dry community.
