The Burra section with 21 campsites will open to camping from December 10th 2020. Some construction works will continue near the campground.
Lakeside camping with boat ramp access for waterskiing. Bookings are essential when camping at Lake Kepwari.
The campground is suitable for tents/swags, camper trailers, rooftop tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Campsite surface is compacted gravel; single level with gentle grade, no steps. 2WD access. Roads within the campground are unsealed compacted gravel.
Sites are unpowered and facilities include toilets, picnic tables, gas barbecues and fire pits. Be prepared as tank water is available but it is not treated. All water should be treated before drinking by vigorous boiling for at least one minute. Rubbish bins are not provided. Please take your rubbish home with you and leave all areas clean and tidy. Access paths to all campground facilities are compacted gravel, with varying grades and no steps. Toilets, barbecue shelter and picnic tables are accessible to people in a wheelchair. Nearest Dump Point is at Collie.
Campfires permitted seasonally and in provided fire rings only. Usual permitted season: April - November. Check current campfire conditions.
There is a designated water ski area on the lake with a boat ramp and designated parking for boat trailers. The calm waters are perfect for swimming and canoeing activities on the lake.
Dogs permitted - must be on a leash at all times.
Generators permitted 8am-6pm. Telstra reception is very poor.
The campground is located 16km from Collie via Patterson Street, Preston Road, Collie-Preston Road, McAlinden Road and Neath Road.
