Murray River Crossing
CampgroundDescription
***Site is open again from April 2021 - not closed as previously listed***
The crossing is for 4x4 vehicles and should not be attempted if you are not properly equipped and experienced.
There are 2 entry tracks to this site, the first is steeper but easily accessible in dry weather. Stay away from this site in rainy weather as it may flood.
Large fairly flat area by the side of the river. Some shade but no facilities.
Please remove all waste and if you are camping please use a porta loo. The toilet paper and human waste near the campsite is a sign that the wrong sort of campers have used this site.
Note: there are signs showing that 1080 poison baits are used in this area.
