The late E. L. Viveash gave this land to the Shire in memory of his son who died in 1983 and it now forms part of the Northam-Katrine Heritage Trail.
Listed as a picnic area, any overnight stays are unofficial and as such please respect and leave no trace so to keep the area available for all. DO NOT CUT DOWN TREES FOR FIREWOOD.
