Description

We now have a unique station campground located 1500 metres from the beach. The unpowered sites include the use of a large camp kitchen, hot showers and toilet amenities (gas stove/oven, sink, picnic tables & a fire pit area). Our campsites are suitable for tents, campervans or big rigs with the option for the use of generators if you so desire (between the hours of 8am - 8pm). The campgrounds are spacious with lots of wildlife running around, including kangaroo's, goanna's, emus, as well as cattle. Experience the authentic soul of the outback at our station stay. Reconnect with the land, the wilderness and your family & friends. We are pet friendly. Pets do need to be well behaved, kept on a leash and cleaned up after please. Children from 2 to 16 years old Infants under 2 years old are free of charge Due to the fragile nature of this unique environment, we ask that you observe the following: Please bring DRINKING WATER - NON-POTABLE bore water is available at the Homestead. Please leave no trace and dispose of your rubbish responsibly at waste management points. This includes cigarette butts. If you are camping at the DBCA coastal campgrounds you are required to have a chemical toilet. Please visit the office to hire one. The toilets require a $50 CASH deposit (returned to you once toilet is returned to us in clean, working condition). The hire fee is $10 per day or a flat rate of $40 for 4 - 7 days. Fire wood can be purchased from our Office (please do not collect wood on Warroora) if you intend on having a campfire. Please check fire conditions before lighting a fire. NO motorbikes or quad bikes are allowed on the property. *Office is located in the Woolshed at the Entrance to the property
