THIS IS A HEAVY VEHICLE REST AREA, PLEASE DO NOT CAMP IN THE BITUMEN PULLOUT BAYS. This roadside rest area is located on the Great Northern Highway near Bindoon and is accessible to vehicles travelling in both directions. Rest areas are a place where you can stop and rest, making your journey safer and more enjoyable. Rest areas are not intended for camping. Facilities at this rest area include: Toilets, picnic tables, and bbq. This is a heavy vehicle rest area. Please DO NOT park in the bitumen truck parking area and ensure there is plenty of room for trucks to enter and exit the site and to park and take their mandatory rest.
