From here start several walks variants along the Mount Bruce Trail:
Marandoo View
Class 2 - 500 metres - 30 minutes return
Follow the path to view the Marandoo iron ore mine.
The trail is well defined with gentle gradients.
Honey Hake Track
Class 3 - 5.1 kilometres - 3 hours 30 minutes return
From Marandoo View follow the track to another vantage
point further up the mountain. The trail is suitable for most ages and fitness levels with some uneven sections. Some bushwalking experience is recommended.
Mount Bruce Summit
Class 5 - 9 kilometres
-6 hours return
(1235m, approximately 450m gain)
As the sun rises take the trail past Marandoo View
and up the western face of the mountain. This trail is
for experienced bushwalkers. A high level or fitness and
agility is required. The surface is rough and difficult in
places, with some short steep sections requiring climbing. The trail may be indistinct in places. From the top enjoy 360° views of the landscape. Mount Bruce
is the second highest peak in Western Australia. Mount Meharry south east of here is the highest at 1245 metres
