Description

Doll museum - Helen Raine describes her mother's porcelain doll collection as 'obsessive', and with around 1,000 in her possession by the time she died you could understand why. The planning for Aunty Joan's Dolly Mix started in 2016 after Joan Stewart died. Proceeds from the museum will be donated to local charitable causes. The museum houses about 800 of Mrs Stewart's 1,000 dolls Ms Raine said when her mother Joan Stewart died in 2016 the collection was left with her father at their home in the small community of Esperance on WA's south coast.
