Dalgaranga Dam Wall
Point of InterestDescription
Dam Wall constructed in 1919 up on the escarpment above the now abandoned Dalgaranga Station to provide water for the farm.
The turn off to the station isn't clearly marked, so keep your eyes open for it. The road in isn't being maintained, but the view from the escarpment is worth the short detour, and the dam wall itself is an impressive piece of engineering.
To get to the track to the dam wall, go past to the right of the old station home, and then about 100m past it look for the track that goes off into the bush on the left.
From the station, you can see a communication tower on a hill - the dam wall is a few hundred meters to the right of that.
