Description

The Dowerin Swimming Pool is located on the edge of the Recreation Grounds complex on Memorial Avenue. It is a substantial 50 metre pool, with grassed surrounds and ample amenities, including a well stocked kiosk, playground and BBQ facilities. The pool building features a mural depicting Dowerin, painted by the Dowerin District High School Students alongside artist Georgina Patteson in 2019. The pool is open from November to March (dates tbc each year) and is open from 12noon to 7pm every day except for Tuesdays. Please note that the Dowerin Amateur Swimming club do their time trials on Thursdays during the school terms and that the pool is closed to the public between 3.15pm and 5pm during this time. No camping or overnight parking.
