A easy 700m walk trail introduces the walker to many tree species in the arboretum which was established in 1929 by the Forests Dept to research tree suitability for plantations and harvest. Over 40 tree species are in the plots.
This free point of interest offers nice scenery, wildlife viewing, walking tracks and cycling tracks.
Dogs are not permitted.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.
