Description

The King George Plunges into tidal waters over sandstone cliffs 100m high to form Western Australias highest twin waterfalls. The river is of high cultural significance to the Balanggarra people, for whom the falls are the male and female Wunkurr (Rainbow Serpents). This site is accessible by BOAT, or by high-clearance 4WD and a 10-20km hike from the Carson River Track. Pets are not permitted.
