Kotka Gorge Carpark & Trail Head

This free point of interest offers nice scenery and walking tracks. Dogs are not permitted.
Warrarla provides a shaded retreat from which to venture on and up to Kotka Gorge. Follow the dry, rocky creek to the opening of the Gorge where there are good views to the east.
Gum Grove Trail
This easy trail winds through a shady grove of river red gums. The return point for this trail is at the Kotka Gorge sign.
Distance: 1km return Time: 20 - 60 minutes Difficulty: Class 3
Kotka Gorge Trail
This trail incorporates the Gum Grove Trail. Walkers then continue along a dry, rocky creek bed before moving above the creek line until just before the main opening of Kotka Gorge. This marks the end of the trail. Rock-falls are a risk beyond this point. There are impressive views to the east from this elevated position.
Distance: 4km return (includes the Gum Grove Trail) Time: 1.5 - 3 hours Difficulty: Class 4
