Laarri Art Centre

Description
Laarri Art Centre, Studio & Gallery is situated on Gooniyandi County at Yiyili Aboriginal Community, just 5km off the Great Northern Highway .. located approximately halfway between Halls Creek and Fitzroy Crossing.
The Art Centre was established in 1999 by Traditional Owner and distinguished Kimberley Artist, Mervyn Cox. The Centre provides an authentic visitor experience to travellers from all over the world. It houses a cultural working space for local artists to paint and display their work and offers some of the best artworks available in the Kimberley. The Gallery displays a unique range of beautiful hand crafted items and visitors are given an overview of life, culture and heritage of the Gooniyandi peoples.
Yiyili Community has a well stocked Outback General Store with competitively priced diesel fuel.
When planning your trip to this part of the Kimberley, make sure you also allow time to visit Mimbi Caves, Larrawa Cattle Station and Mary Springs, (especially when the water is running.)
