Mass Rock
Point of InterestDescription
This free point of interest offers nice scenery.
During his time in Mullewa, Monsignor Hawes noticed that the local Southern Yamatji people did not feel comfortable coming in to town to attend mass with the locals, so he took his hammer and chisel out and carved an alter into a rock so he could hold mass there with them.
There is a plaque outlining the rich history of the area.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.
