Mt Lesueur Summit
Point of InterestDescription
The flat-topped laterite mesa of Mount Lesueur is a feature of the Lesueur National Park. The walking trail to the summit is 4km return. The sandy trail turns into gravel as it starts to ascend. Half way up the track is a lookout where it is possible to see wedge tailed eagles soaring in the air currents. The park erupts into colour in late winter and spring as the park's diverse flora comes out in flower, making it a paradise for wildflower enthusiasts. National Park entry fees apply.
