To reflect the jetty's iconic status the new interpretive centre is a fascinating way to explore the heritage-packed region and learn a little more about what has contributed to the Carnarvon's rich past.
The Centre comes to life with original artwork commissioned from a local Aboriginal artist, colonial objects and photographs as well as a large projection wall showing old pictures of the jetty.
Open daily 9am to 4pm from April to October with abridged opening times from November to March.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.
