The War Memorial commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. It was originally erected to commemorate those who served in World War One. It is a square granite obelisk with brass plates with names inscribed in raised gold lettering. It is also contains an Australia Remembers plaque which commemorates the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two. There is also a Lone Pine descendant from Gallipoli
