Beautiful views and an easy walk down to river pools in a tree-lined gorge.
The Ross Graham Lookout provides excellent views of the Murchison River Gorge, a picnic shelter and toilet facilities. Take the walk trail and explore the shady banks and tranquil pools of the Murchison River below.
Ross Graham River Walk
This trail provides the easiest access in the park to the edge of the Murchison River.
Distance: 700m return Difficulty: Class 3
River Gorge Hikes
Allow 4 days for the strenuous hike through the gorge from Ross Graham Lookout to The Loop. There are no marked trails and river crossings will be necessary.
Distance: 38 km Time: 4 days Difficulty: Class 5
There are also two day, class 5 gorge hikes from Ross Graham Lookout to Z Bend or from Z Bend to The Loop.
You should obtain more information from Kalbarri Park Headquarters before attempting these hikes and must advise a ranger before leaving.
Dogs are not permitted.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.
