Climb aboard the Captain Hussey Train for an enjoyable, scenic and informative journey through the Island's south-side on your way to Oliver Hill.
Departing from the Train Station in the main Settlement, the 64-seat Captain Hussey train passes iconic and historical landmarks of Rottnest Island.
Upon arriving at Oliver Hill, explore on your own or join the Oliver Hill Gun and Tunnel Tour.
Oliver Hill is a significant historical Australian World War II heritage site and was one of seven similar gun emplacements built between 1937 and 1945 to defend Fremantle port from bombardment by warships.
The Captain Hussey train currently operates on Saturday and Sundays.
Departures to Oliver Hill:
Departs on the hour from 10:30am to 2:30pm
Returns back to the main Settlement:
Returns on the hour from 11am to 3pm
Duration: 30 minutes each way
