Description

----- Take your budget further and get 5% off when you use the code WELWIKI5 on your booking through the link on WikiCamps. Enjoy your experience! ----- Spend an unforgettable morning exploring fossilised dinosaur footprints, cruise secluded bays and meander up serene creek inlets. Relax onboard the purpose-built vessel and enjoy sparkling wine and gourmet platters as you immerse yourself in the incredible scenery, birds species and marine life of the Kimberley Coast. Roebuck Bay, a heritage-listed marine park, has an incredibly diverse ecosystem and its extensive seagrass meadows are home to a myriad of marine life. As you cruise through the bay, you may be lucky enough to spot dolphins, turtles or manta rays depending on the season. Your friendly crew will be providing an entertaining and informative commentary on everything Broome, including its colourful history, the evolution of the coastline and the science behind fossils. The shallow landing vessels allow you to disembark directly onto the beach and is the perfect boat to explore this intriguing coastline. Enjoy a short beach walk to stand in awe of the perfectly preserved, 120 million-year-old dinosaur footprints that are fossilised in rock. This beautiful secluded bay is the ideal spot to explore and take it all in. Afterwards, take a meandering trip up Dampier Creek, where you can get up close and personal with the flora and fauna. Take in the spectacular surroundings of the white sands and many winding tributaries whilst indulging in a glass of sparkling wine and delicious gourmet platters. From the contrasting aqua waters and bright Pindan coloured cliffs to the many species of birdlife and wildlife within the bay, there is something for everyone on this tour. To supplement the sparkling wine that is included on this tour, there is a licensed bar at our absolute beachfront venue, exclusive to tour guests, for you to purchase a drink before or after the tour.
