The falls are an easy 300m walk from the car park.
Do not enter the water, if you are not a strong swimmer. Beware of:
- Slippery rocks
- Deep water
- Sudden drop-offs
- No diving
- Supervise children at all times
Serpentine Falls lie on the Darling Scarp, the western edge of the vast Darling Plateau. The Serpentine River has dissected this landscape, carving a steep, deep valley into the plateau and scarp. Here at the falls, the water plunges over a spectacular sheer rock face, polishing the rock as it cascades 15 metres into the rock pool below.
