Description

Allow 50 minutes for this 2 km return trail. This loop trail climbs to the top of the spectacular Sixty Foot Falls via the southern side of the valley before descending back along it's northern slopes. During winter, walkers can enjoy views of Ellis Brook as it tumbles over the falls and down through the valley. The trail also offers magnificent views of Perth CBD and surrounding Valley. From the top of the falls the Trail descends gradually traversing stunning Wandoo woodland before passing the old Barrington quarry where it's excavations and pits provide a window into the geology of the area. Dogs on lead permitted. Rushton Road entry gates will be opened from 6:00am and closed at 7:00pm. No camping or overnight parking.
