The historic Shovel 6. It is on display next to the Coalfields Highway and the Premier coal mine. The shovel was manufactured by Kobe Steel in 1976 and used at the Mount Whaleback Iron Ore Mine in Newman until 1994. From there, it was transferred to Collie in 1995 and sent to the Premier coal mine in 1996. The shovel was retired in 2010.
