Turquoise Way Cycle Path (start)
Point of InterestDescription
This 14km cycle path follows the ocean south to the mouth of the Hill River. The path is suitable for road or hybrid bikes, scooters or skating. Can be breezy but that helps you to get back. There are numerous exit points to various stunning beaches as well as many shaded picnic tables. The path is mostly flat. There are a couple of rises towards the end but these are very manageable. This is a shared pedestrian path, closed to all motorised vehicles. The river at the end is scenic, with birds bobbing around. There are no facilities once you leave town.
