The Knoll
CampgroundDescription
YOU MUST BOOK THROUGH HIPCAMP WEBSITE PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.
Tucked away in the beautiful Orara Valley, The Knoll is a 134 acre active rural property. The camping area is set on 27 acres of river flats along the pristine Urumbilum river. The crystal clear river flows down from the Dorrigo plateau through the Bindarri National Park.
Guests are welcome to explore private access to 900 metres of babbling shallows, calm hidden pools and deep waterholes. We do not allow fishing from our property but you can swim with bass, herring, catfish, turtles, eels and even a big old eastern cod.
The Orara Valley is surrounded by National Park and State Forest and is Coffs Harbour's playground for 4WD adventuring and trail bike riding. Access the numerous forest trails around the valley to seek out hidden gems like the Magic Pools and Dingo Creek, or head up to the end of Dairyville Road to the Bindarri National Park.
Good access for caravans (weather permitting).
Our place suits self-contained campers who have their toilet and leave no trace.
Dog friendly.
Campfire permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place.
