The bushland setting of this boutique campground is easily accessed by two wheel drive vehicles and the numbers of campers allowed onsite is limited to ensure you have plenty of space and the natural environment is not stressed either. It's just a short drive from the town centre of Gloucester NSW. Although it feels like wilderness, you'll love our 'luxe' amenities block with hot showers, flushing toilets and filtered river water for drinking and cooking. There are several large bonfire pits plus two permanent shelters that can be hired. There are no powered sites and no defined sites. Please note unfortunately no domestic pets are allowed due to the close proximity of wildlife. To avoid disappointment please call ahead before visiting The Steps as the campground is occasionally closed for school groups and private functions. Bookings are essential, especially in popular holiday seasons.
