Description

The Bay of Fires Conservation Area offers free beach-side camping. Camping is permitted only in designated campgrounds. There are also more elevated sites among the trees that have views of the shoreline. Camping is free. No bookings, sites are available on a first come, first serve basis. Campers are required to bring water and firewood and to remove all rubbish. Campers are encouraged to bring fire pots for use when fire restrictions are not in place. The maximum stay is four weeks. There are no toilet facilities at this site. Use your own or ensure all waste and toilet paper is buried correctly. Dogs on leads are permitted. Note seasonal closures to dogs on Taylor's Beach apply during shorebird breeding season, usually Spring-Summer. Check BODC website for details.
