Description

UPDATE: CONSTRUCTION will not be commencing until FEBRUARY 2024, so the Ensay Reserve is temporarily open for camping and functions for the Spring and Summer Months of 2023/24 This paid campground offers toilets, showers, and power hook-ups & a free BBQ. It is all animal friendly. Horse yards with water troughs are available. It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers, caravans, and big rigs. Camping in tents is allowed. $5 donation to camp, $10 includes the use of showers, $15 includes power. There is water but not reticulated. Numerous rainwater tanks and a couple of spots where you could fill a jerry. Bring a tap handle for vandal-proof taps. These were installed during the drought as the reserve had to pay for water to be trucked in. River ran dry.. Flushing toilets are clean and well-supplied with paper, hand soap, and paper towels. The power is not live until Kathy turns it on for you.. Recommend booking... there is mobile internet but restricted due to location. No TV reception either unless you have a satellite dish. Normal antennae won't work. There is now a community FREE Wi-Fi but you do need to be close to the main building to connect.
