King George Sound Safari run WHALE and scenic boat safaris daily around King George Sound and Princess Royal Harbour in Albany, WA. We are the only boat tour operating all year round out of Albany Marina. From around May to October, Humpback, Southern Right and occasionally rare Blue Whales can be seen in Albany’s waters where they frolic, mate and calve. Dolphins and seals can be seen all year round. Our boat is the “Young Salty Dog”, a twin hull catamaran and an ex Sea Rescue vessel that is safe and stable. Holding up to 12 passengers, Captain Mark will give you a personalised tour of the harbour and King George Sound. From November to April, we run Summer Sea Safaris, 3 x 2 Hour tours, departing 09:30, 12:30 and 15:30. From May to October, we run Winter Whale Safaris, 2 x 3 Hour tours, departing 09:30 and 13:30. We also offer 2, 3 or 4 hour custom safaris to tailor a cruise for whatever your heart desires. Whether this is a tour of Princess Royal Harbour, King George Sound or the two combined. Perfect for Corporate Functions, Family Fun Days or Christmas/End of Year parties. Captain Mark is an Albany local and will educate and entertain you with his commentary and knowledge of the area.
